Fields: The fields are representative of what we would hunt in New Mexico and are located directly adjacent to the test headquarters. They are comprised of rolling hills, sandy soil, and mixed species of grass, short brush, and weeds. There are very few cactus species present and no burrs. There is some yucca and mesquite present, so brush pants or chaps for handlers is recommended. In these fields in September, birds will tend to move to shade which is the mesquite clumps. So handlers may need to penetrate that mesquite to flush the birds - welcome to New Mexico hunting!
Breakfast and lunch will be available onsite each day (6am-2pm)
There will be daily specials plus the normal menu items shown below. Soft drinks, coffee, tea, iced tea and lemonade will be available for purchase.
