NAVHDA Zia

The NAVHDA ZIA Chapter of the North American Versatile Hunting Dog Association serves the state of New Mexico.  NAVHDA is a nonprofit corporation whose purpose is to foster, promote and improve the versatile hunting dog breeds in North America; to conserve game by using well trained reliable hunting dogs before and after the shot; and to aid in the prevention of cruelty to animals by discouraging nonselective and uncontrolled breeding, which produces unwanted and uncared for dogs.

NAVHDA ZIA is a nonprofit corporation that conducts regularly scheduled training sessions, educational activities, social activities, conducts fundraising activities, and sponsors NAVHDA sanctioned tests annually in the Spring/Fall.

If you are passionate about the promotion of one of the versatile hunting breeds and/or their training and testing, we would love to have you join our chapter.  You can join by downloading the membership form below and send it to one of our officers, or plan to attend our monthly meeting held at 5:30pm on the first Thursday of the month (Jan. - Nov.).
